We’re really sorry to hear our tubes have been a frustrating experience for you, and we completely understand where you’re coming from. Our aluminium tubes are definitely a unique concept and do need a bit of extra care compared to their plastic counterparts, as they don’t bounce back in the same way. Because of the soft, malleable nature of aluminium, they need to be handled a little more delicately.

We do have some lovely tube keys available that can really help to minimise any mess or wastage – and we totally hear your suggestion about including one with every 30ml tube and up. That’s such a thoughtful idea, and we’ll absolutely pass it along to our product and packaging team to explore

We also recommend popping the tubes in a small cosmetic bag like our neoprene pouches to help prevent bending (which is what usually causes the splitting). You can definitely use them without leaks once you get the hang of it!
